  1. Pretty funny…

If it reflected the way I saw the world when I was IFB, it would have a cross in AD 33, the Bible delivered in 1611, and Christianity begins in 1917.

    Can you guess the 1917?

      1. Yes…

        …but, of course, I’m exaggerating.

Were I not joking, I think I’d have to back up my timeline a bit: Wesley -> Finney [Early Church] -> DL Moody -> Billy Sunday -> J. Frank Norris [Middle Ages] -> JR Rice -> SoTL, Bob Jones, etc. [The Reformation]

…but all in good fun, of course…

  2. I think the cartoon funny, yet sad at the same time. There are sooo many different denominations out there and they are positive that they are the best ones. I just do the best I can to follow what the scripture says, not what everyone else says.

    1. I hear you, Derrick…

…yet at the same time, perhaps it is the “I just do what the Scriptures says” attitude that causes folks to keep forking off into their own movement.

  3. Maybe not by just following the scriptures, but there own interpretation of the scriptures. I have always been the one to say the bible is what it is. Follow it for what it says, not what we think it says. That is where a lot of the division comes.
