I have only relatively recently been introduced to Piper's work (I found copies of "The Passion Of Jesus Christ" and "The Misery Of Job And The Mercy Of God" at the local Goodwill bookstore -- haven't read them yet). I've got a backlog of books to read but like many folks just don't have the consistent stretches of time to read. I keep the Bible handy as priority when I have time to read and then whatever book I'm in the process of reading (right now it's Charles Swindoll's "The Grace Awakening"). So if I get this book by John Piper, it may take some time before I will be able to read it. Drinking orange juice? Now THAT alone is enough for me to check out this book (I am the curious sort).
