We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him." (Acts 5:32)

This verse I think shows the importance of obeying God, and leading holy lives. The Holy Spirit is given to those who obey God.

Although I am not a calvinist, I really find what you have written very interesting. I read some of your "once saved always saved" post. Although I do not agree on the "technicalities" of the theology, I appreciate that fact that you disagree with the teaching that once you become Christian, you can live in sin, and still enter heaven. God knows those who are truly elect, which are those who will obey Him and remain faithful. However, those who do not remain faithful are not the true "elect."

I hope my thoughts made some sense, and God bless you!
